Hi, we’re the Vegan Sisters. Our names are Alice and Lucy and we’re both plant-based nomads currently travelling around the planet together. The aim of Vegan Sisters is to inspire people to explore and try tasty vegan food all over the world!
You will learn about the history and culture behind each ingredient we explore, as well as how to cook with vegan recipes we’ve learned and reinvented from the places we’ve visited or lived in around the world.
Whether or not you’re vegan or vegetarian yourself, this course can help you to understand how to best utilise everyday ingredients to make the most of their flavour, impress your mates with your culinary skills, and lead a healthier lifestyle.
A big part of veganism that people misunderstand is that it’s really about reinventing the way that we think about food in empowering, creative ways.
We’ve been vegan for over 4 years and were vegetarian for a while before that. We are deeply passionate about it and love to motivate and inspire others to find their way. We want to help you discover for yourself that eating plant-based doesn’t mean you have to miss out on popular dishes and amazing flavours.
For non-vegans we will also recommend recipe alternatives and anyone who takes this course will learn how to use essential kitchen techniques and equipment that will stick with you for life. While all of the ingredients we use are vegan, you will be able to carry any of the skills learned in this course across to any dietary preference.
