So you’ve got your shiny new Wild deodorant case…now what?
If you’re new to using a refillable deodorant, you might have some questions about how to get the most out of it. Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered!
In this blog post, I’ll give you some tips and tricks for using your Wild deodorant, so you can stay fresh and confident all day long.

Step-by-step instructions on how to use Wild Deodorant
Step 1. Twist
To wind the base down for removal, twist the twisty bit at the bottom of the base. Keep twisting until you can’t twist anymore.
Remember, lefty loosey, righty tighty! In other words, make sure you’re twisting it to the left (anticlockwise).
Step 2. Squeeze
It’s time to work that grip strength 💪 squeeze the buttons on each side of the case, then pull the base out from the bottom.
Step 3. Loosen
Now remove the lid of a deodorant refill and gently squeeze the refill case. This will loosen the filling to help it slide out of its case during those upward twists in step 6!
Step 4. Secure
There’s a thin ridge that protrudes from the base of the case; secure this firmly up the refill’s bottom. You should feel it click into place. Satisfying.
Step 5. Slide
Slide the refill and base back up into the body until the side buttons snap back into place.
Step 6. Twist again
🎶 Let’s twist again, like we did [in step 1] 🎶
A few twists to the right should do the trick, just enough to push the deodorant filling up by 2-3mm.
Step 7. Glide
Glide the surface of the deodorant up and down your armpits. Once each way will do nicely…unless you have particularly large armpits.
Replace the lid.
And now go drive everyone Wild with your freshly smelling pits!
How long does wild deodorant take to work?
The magic of Wild Deodorant kicks in immediately, banishing unwanted odours and leaving you confident and ready to take on the world!
Of course, the exact duration of its odour-fighting prowess may vary depending on your unique body chemistry, activity levels and the elements you encounter.
How often to use wild deodorant?
For optimal freshness and odour protection, I recommend using Wild Deodorant daily. I like to apply mine in the morning after showering or whenever I desire an extra boost of freshness.
It’s all down to personal preferences though and individual needs may vary. If you need additional applications throughout the day or after engaging in strenuous activities, feel free to reapply as necessary.
How do I get the most out of wild deodorant?
To make the most out of your Wild Deodorant experience and ensure maximum effectiveness, here are a few tips:
1. APPLY TO CLEAN AND DRY SKIN
Before using Wild Deodorant, make sure your pits are squeaky clean and dry. This helps the deodorant adhere better and provides a solid foundation for long-lasting odour protection.
2. USE SPARINGLY
You only need a thin layer of Wild Deodorant on each armpit – a little goes a long way! Applying too much can actually lead to product build-up and potentially affect its performance.
3. AIR YOUR PITS
Allow a few moments for the deodorant to dry before putting your clothes on. This helps prevent any potential transfer onto your clothes and ensures that the active ingredients have time to start working their magic.
I also tend to put my tops on over my head first, before putting my arms through the armholes, which I find mitigates the white marks on clothes issue.
4. STORE OUT OF DIRECT SUNLIGHT
Just like vampires, Wild Deodorant doesn’t like direct sunlight! So make sure you store it in a cool, dry place to maintain its delicious scent and effectiveness.
How to refill Wild deodorant
To refill your Wild Deodorant case, twist the base of the case anticlockwise until it reaches its maximum point of rotation. The old refill should now be twisted back down to its original position.
Open the case by pressing the buttons at the side and pulling out the base.
Remove the empty refill. You can then choose to home compost it or dispose of it in the paper recycling bin.
